VEVO is a flexible viscoelastic damping material available in sheets and custom die-cut parts. It is designed to attenuate structural vibration energy over a temperature range of 12°C (10°F) to 77°C (170°F) offering maximum damping between 10°C (50°F) and 37°C (100°F). In addition to its outstanding damping characteristics, VEVO is highly resistant to most common chemicals (water, petroleum, mild acids and bases) as well as the environment (UV and ozone), while exhibiting excellent flame resistance and low smoke generation under fire conditions. VEVO is supplied with an integral, pressure-sensitive adhesive system, which requires only the removal of the paper release liner and application of pressure to assure an intimate and permanent contact with the substrate. This “peel and stick” adhesive system allows maximum performance and is especially suited to assembly line applications.
Noise Barrier
dB Engineering2016-10-26T01:59:26+00:00Barrier materials block noise. Flexible noise barrier is a limp, tough, high-temperature-fused vinyl loaded with non-lead fillers and/or reinforced with high-strength fabric. They resist passage of sound waves and reduce noise transmission.
dB Cloth
dB Engineering2019-08-06T17:09:31+00:00dBcloth acoustical foams are designed to provide maximum absorption of airborne sound with minimum thickness and weight. These flexible polyurethane open cell foam products are manufactured to optimize pore size, air flow resistance, and density. Sound energy, passing through the cell structure, is converted into minute quantities of low grade heat that is easily dissipated. Since the uniformity of the cells are carefully controlled the efficiency is constant and predictable from one installation to another.
Foam Melamine
dB Engineering2019-08-06T17:11:43+00:00Foam Melamine is a lightweight, high temperature resistant, open cell foam manufactured from melamine resin. It combines excellent thermal properties with superior sound absorption capabilities to create a versatile fiber free product which can be applied in situations which may prohibit the use of urethane foams or fiberglass insulations.
Perforated Vinyl Faced Foams
dB Engineering2019-08-06T17:12:45+00:00Perforated Vinyl Faced Foams combine the absorption properties of acoustical foams with the toughness and durability of vinyl. The perforation pattern has been engineered to provide maximum absorption and resilience with 14% open area. The attractive leather like appearance makes it ideal for vehicle interiors, marine headliners, and enclosures.
Foam Damping Sheet
dB Engineering2019-08-06T17:14:21+00:00The need to absorb noise inside a machine enclosure often accompanies the need to damp vibration on the same structure. Where it is not possible to totally enclose a noise source, as in many types of machinery, electrical appliances, office equipment and electronic controls, the inside of the enclosure should be lined with sound absorption material.

Matte Film Finish
dB Engineering2019-08-06T17:15:30+00:00Matte Film Finish provides a tough, puncture resistant textured surface making it suitable for use in machine enclosures.
Metalized Mylar
dB Engineering2019-08-06T17:16:53+00:00Metalized mylar foam is excellent for use around liquids. The reflective, wipe-clean surface protects against oils, water and many chemicals. Reduces heat transfer.
