DBL Damping Sheets (DBL) is a self-adhesive, lightweight damping pad material used for controlling noise and vibration in truck, bus, and industrial machine sheet metal applications. The pad material is odorless, wear resistant, waterproof and provides damping performance equal to that of conventional materials twice its weight.
The pressure sensitive adhesive side of the pad is smooth, free of air pockets and channels, allowing good contact to be made with the underlying surface.
A specially formulated adhesive on the pressure sensitive side maximizes acoustical performance.
Both pad material and adhesive can withstand a wide range of temperatures. Aging resistance is excellent.
